Please note that the above courses are ONE DAY courses and lunch is provided on the day. In addition, if you are interested in attending a Creativity course (Intermediate) you must have completed the Fundamental course (beginners) previously.

During the course you will learn how to inflate, size, and knot latex and foil balloons to create a host of balloon designs from a balloon in a box and layered bouquets, to a string of pearl arch or a spiral garland column (Please see enclosed leaflet for more details).

Your Qualatex Approved instructor, (C.B.A Certified Balloon Artist) will introduce you to the Qualatex Balloon Network and the world renowned C.B.A. Examination programme. This certificated course is a fun filled hands-on day designed to give thorough grounding on the techniques and products used. The course will also cover health and safety with balloon gas, pricing for profit, gifts in balloons and gas and balloon calculations. The Fundamentals course is a recognised industry qualification.

For Birmingham, Bradford, Manchester & Gateshead, your Qualatex Approved Instructor & CBA (Certified Balloon Artist) teacher will be Linda Carling.

For Belfast and Dublin, your Qualatex Approved Instructor & CBA (Certified Balloon Artist) teacher will be Fiona Fisher.

The courses will be held at the Budget warehouses, with the exception to the courses for Manchester, Belfast and Gateshead.

The Manchester sessions will take place at The Premier Travel Inn (Heaton Park).

The Belfast sessions will take place at The Chimney Corner Hotel (Newtownabbey).

The Gateshead sessions will take place at The Premier Travel Inn (The Quayside, Newcastle).

The Creativity course is the next step in Balloon Decorating- to participate you will have already attended a Fundamentals course or a have good knowledge of the basics.

During the course you will learn how to create table centrepieces, floor decor and arches using 5" 11" 3ft and 646Q balloons. This is a fun filled day with WOW factor! In addition, you will learn how to use space and your Qualatex Approved instructor will also give you practical tips on how to achieve the ultimate effect for that special occasion.

All courses start at 10am and finish at 4.30-5.00pm followed by a 30 minute Q&A session.

Qualatex Wedding for beginners- Your Qualatex Approved instructor will teach you how to make cloud 9 decor for the top table, string of pearl arches with a difference, how to create stunning table decor, card boxes, dress top tables with bows and 5" balloons, table top Bride and Grooms, topiary trees with lights and how to get the best from wedding fairs along with good practical tips to get the most form the wedding season. This is a fun filled day so bring your camera!!

Qualatex Wedding Wonders, the next step - This class will be using framework to make arches, hearts and columns using round balloons, 260Q balloons and the new foil balloons, we will create magical table decor for the Bride and Groom. Exploding balloons for the dance floor using Conwin kits. You will also be given good practical tips on how to get that extra business! We will learn how to create the ultimate effect for their special day!!
